Lux ATL is poignant, hilarious, and has a message that everyone needs to hear and understand in the pole community, but really just in life.
Liz Bohan, Stripcraft Student
Lux ATL is a pole dancer with a PhD, a former English professor and lifelong exotic dancer turned professional pole performer, instructor, writer, and speaker. She is activist for women’s empowerment through radical expression of the sensual self. You can find her pole dancing and spreading feminist wisdom internationally as she tours “Stripcraft,” her workshop for women seeking to reconnect with their confidence and sexiness.
I know you don’t know me from a can of paint, Lux, but I wanted to let you know how much you inspire me. I follow your podcast, and of course I follow you on Facebook. Just know that you have inspired me to break out of my box, get back to my basics, and love myself…to go back to the person I used to be before the world told me who I should be.
This girl… I tell you what, she’s going to change shit, like for real. She’s a bad mutha. I’m so happy I was able to hear her preach, see her dance, and learn from her. Thank you for making me feel like a million bucks.
I read most everything you write. Your video, musings, rants, newsletters, and blogs are inspirational. In fact they are liberating. In the spirit of that liberation I walked out into the living room last night and did an awe inspiring lap dance for Stephanie! Grind, twerk, and in her face Magic Mike. The results could not have been better. I didn’t make money but once she quit laughing and cleaned up the wine coming out of her nose she took me to bed and that was truly awesome. Thanks Doc! I owe you big time.
Since taking Lux Atl’s Stripcraft workshop, people have been asking me: “So what do you actually get out of that?” It is hard to explain in anything other than feelings but here goes;
If you have ever woken up one day and thought to yourself “Oh my God, what the f&@k happened to my sparkle? I used to shine so bright.” Then this workshop is for you.
If you have ever felt any self-doubt as a woman, a mother, a wife, a friend or as a daughter, then this workshop is for you.
If you have ever wondered if you could get your sexy back, if you were good enough, strong enough, competent enough, beautiful enough, simply enough in general. Then this workshop is for you.
If you need to be reminded that “only you possess what only you possess” and everyone is beautiful in our own unique way, then this workshop is definitely for you.
If it comes around to a city near you, don’t hesitate, just do it. This woman is amazing and you will leave feeling like the best version of yourself, ever.
